What affects how much it costs to print in Dublin?

The final price of a print job is shaped by a handful of straightforward choices. Rather than guessing at per-sheet figures, it helps to understand the factors that move the total up or down:

  • Colour or black & white: full colour pages cost more than black & white, so longer documents are cheaper in mono.
  • Paper weight: you can choose budget 70g draft paper (black & white only, our cheapest option), standard 80g, or a heavier, more premium 100g A4 paper.
  • Single or double-sided: printing on both sides can reduce the number of sheets for long documents.
  • Number of copies: you set how many copies you need for each file in your order.
  • Page count: naturally, more pages mean a higher total — but on 80g and 100g paper each sheet gets cheaper as your order grows: every block of 100 sheets after the first is cheaper, up to 30% off.

We print on A4 and A5 paper (A5 is half the size of A4). We do not offer other sizes or same-day printing, so you always know exactly what you are getting. Spiral binding is an optional extra, from €1.50 a book.

Fixed costs you can count on

Alongside the printing itself, there are a few fixed figures worth knowing in advance. There is a minimum order of €2.95: if your printing works out cheaper than that, a small surcharge simply tops it up. Every order also carries a €2.95 management fee. These are flat, predictable amounts rather than hidden extras.

Delivery is the other part of the equation. An Post Standard costs €1.95 for orders up to 80 sheets and €3.95 above, and it is free when your printing comes to €30 or more. Tracked Express and Registered post cost An Post's own price for the weight of your envelope. We post the next working day, except on Irish bank holidays.
