1. Service description
Online Printing Dublin provides online PDF document printing with delivery by An Post to any address in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We print customer-supplied PDF files on A4 or A5 paper in Dublin and post them to the specified address.
2. Orders and payment
- All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of order.
- An order confirmation email is sent upon successful payment.
- We reserve the right to reject orders that contain illegal, offensive, or copyright-infringing content (see section 7).
- During checkout you must expressly confirm that you hold the rights or permission to print the uploaded files.
3. File requirements
- We accept PDF files only, up to 30 MB per file.
- Maximum of 30 files per order.
- Files must not be password-protected or encrypted.
- We print documents as provided — we are not responsible for formatting, spelling, or content errors in your files.
4. Delivery
- We deliver by An Post to any address in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The delivery address must include a valid Eircode or Northern Ireland (BT) postcode.
- Dispatch: we print your order and hand it to An Post on the next working day after it is placed (Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays).
- An Post Standard: usually delivered the working day after posting (one more day to Northern Ireland). Standard post is not tracked.
- An Post Express (tracked, delivered the next day once posted) and An Post Registered (tracked and signed for) are delivered within An Post's own timescales for each service.
- Delivery dates shown on the website and in our emails are estimates based on An Post's usual delivery times and are not guaranteed.
- When your order is posted we email you the An Post receipt and, for tracked services, the tracking number.
- If your order does not arrive, please contact us. After talking it through with you, we will reprint your order and send it again.
- We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses or postcodes provided by the customer.

Draft quality (70g): printed in the printer's draft mode (lighter ink coverage) on thinner 70g paper, and available in black & white only. It is intended for study notes and internal drafts. Please note: a Draft print is meant to look lighter and feel thinner than a Standard one — that is the product you are buying at this lower price, not a printing error. For this reason, Draft orders cannot be reprinted or refunded because the print looks light or the paper feels thin.
Volume pricing: the sheets of an order are priced in blocks of 100: the first 100 at the prices above and each following block cheaper — 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% off the sheets in that block, with the last rate applying to every further sheet. Draft sheets are not included. Discount codes apply to the printing cost after volume pricing.

Each book has a black plastic coil and plastic covers front and back. Books are made with the copies you order, so binding never adds printing. Heavier paper is thicker: a 100g sheet counts as 1.25 sheets and a draft 70g sheet as 0.9. We punch about 6 mm from the bound edge. Discount codes do not apply to binding.
Delivery
- An Post Standard: €1.95 for orders up to 80 sheets and €3.95 above — free when the printing cost (after volume pricing, before any discount code) plus any binding comes to €30 or more.
- An Post Express (from €10.00) and An Post Registered (from €10.00): charged at An Post's own price for the weight of your order. The exact amount is shown in your quote before you pay.
Additional fees
- Minimum printing order: €2.95. If printing costs are below this amount, a surcharge is added to reach the minimum.
- Management fee: €2.95 per order, packaging included.
Discount codes
- One discount code may be applied per order, before payment. The discount applies to the printing (sheet) cost only — delivery, the management fee and the minimum-order surcharge are never discounted.
- The discounted amounts are fixed when the order is placed. Refunds for orders paid with a code are calculated on the amounts actually paid.
- Codes have no cash value, may carry an expiry date and may be deactivated at any time. Referral codes are part of our referral programme.
6. Refunds, reprints and complaints
Errors caused by us (e.g., missing pages, smudged prints, wrong paper, or any quality issue attributable to our equipment or handling):
- We will reprint the affected documents at no additional cost.
- No monetary refund is issued — the order will be reprinted and delivered again free of charge.
- Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order so we can arrange the reprint.
Errors caused by the customer (e.g., wrong file uploaded, formatting issues in the PDF, incorrect print settings selected at checkout):
- A refund may be issued for the printing cost of the affected file(s) only.
- Shipping costs and management fees are non-refundable.
- The minimum printing order surcharge is non-refundable.
Cancellations:
- Orders that have not yet been printed may be cancelled for a full refund.
- Once printing has started, cancellations are subject to the customer-error refund policy above.
All refund or reprint requests should be sent to info@onlineprintingdublin.ie with your order code.
7. Intellectual property and copyright
By uploading files, you confirm and warrant that you own the rights to the content or hold the necessary permission from the rights holder to have it printed. We are not responsible for copyright infringement by customers.
- We do not print complete books or other copyright-protected publications (e.g., textbooks, novels, manuals, sheet music or commercial publications) unless you are the rights holder or can provide proof of permission. This applies regardless of whether the copy is for personal use.
- Documents you are entitled to print — your own work, public-domain material, openly licensed content, lecture notes, or excerpts permitted under licence — are always welcome.
- If we detect that an order infringes this policy, the order will be cancelled and refunded minus the management fee and a €3.00 processing charge, which covers non-refundable payment-platform fees and other indirect costs. The affected files will not be printed.
- Repeated infringement may result in a refusal to accept future orders.
Uploaded files are used solely for printing and are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days of the order being received. Order records and specifications are retained for reference purposes.
8. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from printing errors, delivery delays, or service interruptions.
